Born Martin Sanda Simon in the mid eighties, MarTino Elcasino or ‘Tino’ as he’s popularly called is Rap artist raised in Adamawa state. He started nurturing his skills while in Federal Government College Ganye and later, stood as the best ‘rapper’ in Federal University of Technology, Yola while Studying Statistics. MarTino emerged victorious in all rap competitions he featured and has performed along side notable artistes like, The Choc boys, Sinzu, Ikechukwu and Mr Raw. MarTino’s lyricism contains a fusion of English, Hausa and a bit of Fulfulde (which is the dialect in his hometown) and he’s well known for spittin deep metaphors, ciphers(sometimes using digits) which earned him the moniker; “Educated Hausa Boy; ‘EHB’” . I swear he has another new dimension of rap.
